Medical Office Assistant
Sally graduated from the University of Alberta with a Bachelor of Science in 2018 with a major in Pharmacology. Sally developed an increasing interest and passion for the field of medicine and patient-centered care through her volunteer work at various hospitals and health care facilities in various roles, including welcome liaison, mealtime companion, medical office assistant, unit volunteer and as a Peer Health Educator with a student group. These experiences both in Canada and abroad led her to pursue her role with Advanced Primary Care.
Sally is enthusiastic about APC’s team-based approach to patient care and enjoys helping patients feel comfortable and prepared for their medical office visits. Sally aspires to build relationships with patients and staff while working at Advanced Primary Care and contribute positively to the overall patient experience at our clinic.
Sally grew up in Calgary from a young age and is fluent in English and Korean. She is attempting to learn Spanish at a higher level and to play the piano. Sally loves to sing, bake, go on adventures with her friends (often involving food), and explore new countries. She hopes to travel to Japan, Hong Kong, Europe, and across Canada in the next few years.
