Dr. Liam Kronlund

Family Physician

Dr. Liam Kronlund completed his post-secondary studies through the University of Calgary including a Bachelor of Science, Master of Science, and Doctor of Medicine. Given his rural upbringing, he has attended the Rural Family Medicine Residency Program based out of Southern Alberta. Thus far in his career, he enjoys practicing as a Locum at different sites throughout Southern Alberta and the Yukon with a primary interest lying in the primary care and urgent care settings. Being early in his days of practice, Dr. Kronlund is excited to see where his next adventures take him. 

 

Dr. Kronlund was born and raised on a ranch north of Cochrane, Alberta, with cattle and horses. Always keen for the outdoors and adventure, Dr. Kronlund feels fortunate to have had the mountains as his backyard playground all his life. Dr. Kronlund’s hobbies often include hiking, snowboarding, horseback riding, running, and cycling. Upon completing a semester abroad during his undergraduate studies attending Umea University in Sweden, the travel bug had officially begun. Dr. Kronlund have since pursued additional adventures including summiting Kilimanjaro, scuba diving throughout Asia, and completing the Tour du Mont Blanc. Currently, Dr. Kronlund and his partner is currently splitting their time between Calgary and Canmore with their three-legged dog, Charlie.
