Dr. Giselle Botia Cortes

Dr. Botia Cortes's journey in medicine began with her Doctor of Medicine training at the University of Calgary, followed by her residency in Family Medicine at McMaster University. Prior to returning to Calgary, she embarked on fulfilling roles as a Hospitalist at Toronto Rehabilitation Bickle site and as a Lecturer at the Department of Family and Community Medicine, University of Toronto.

 

Her fluency in English, French, and Spanish underscores her dedication to providing inclusive and comprehensive care to patients from diverse backgrounds. Through her extensive experience across neonatal assessment teams, community health centers, rural family medicine, and hospitalist roles, she has demonstrated remarkable adaptability and a steadfast commitment to holistic patient well-being. 

 

Beyond her professional endeavors, Dr. Botia Cortes finds joy in simple pleasures, cherishing quality moments with her family, friends and two furry companions. She loves engaging in spirited board game sessions and venturing into the great outdoors.
